This oil is a variety of our Somalian Frankincense Carterii extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide. In this state, the CO2 becomes liquid and acts as a solvent that can take the oil from the plant material. This results in a more diverse plant profile giving the user a richer scent as well as a superior amount of medicinal molecules.
Frankincense CO2 is often used in perfumery for its cleaner aroma.
