Using Essential Oils:

  • Diffusion:

Did you try diffusing the essential oil in the house? If you weren’t particularly satisfied with the outcome, try this. We recommend essential oils be diffused in a nebulizer diffuser or an ultrasonic diffuser. Heat-based diffusers tend to degrade the essential oil by changing its constituents. You should instead try aromatherapy diffusers that don’t use heat.

  • Weak scent:

If you find the scent too weak, try increasing the number of drops you add to the diffuser. We recommend you start with 1-3 drops, but if you find this too mild, just increase the number of drops. Conversely, if you find the scent too strong, do the opposite (decrease the number of drops).

  • Reaction:

Did you use the essential oil on your skin and experienced an adverse reaction? Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts. As such, many of them should not be used neat on the skin. Only a few essential oils like Lavender can be used neat. Make sure you dilute the essential oil in a suitable carrier oil before applying it to the skin. We recommend a dilution ratio of 12 drops essential oil per fluid ounce of carrier oil.

  • Ingestion:

Did you know essential oils can help support a healthy digestive, respiratory, and immune systems? Essential oils like Lemon and Peppermint can be used to flavor teas or other beverages. You can also add a drop of Lemon essential oil to water in the morning. Besides this, you can also add a drop of essential oil like Frankincense to a veggie capsule and consume. Remember, not all essential oils are safe to consume, so do your research.
