REVIVE Linaloe Berry

Our next Oil of the Month may not be one that you have heard of before, but let us tell you, it is worth your attention! Linaloe Berry Essential Oil is a hidden gem in the world of aromatherapy. With a delicate, yet complex aroma that is both soothing and uplifting, this oil is a great addition to your home and health. But, this oil is more than just a beautiful scent; it carries a rich history and many therapeutic benefits to boot.
Background
Linaloe Berry Essential Oil is hydro steam distilled from the fruit of the Linaloe tree (aka Bursera linaloe) that grows in Mexico. The plant received its name which translates to “flowery copal” in the 1830’s from a botanist who was referencing how it compared visually to the copal tree. Traditionally, the wood and resin were used for spiritual rituals and medicine. But when the Essential Oil was introduced in the 20th century, it became popular in the perfume industry because the scent is similar to Rosewood oil, but it is not restricted due to its sustainability.
