Easter crafts are so fun! The themes of the season can be cute baby animals like chicks and bunnies, or pastel shapes like eggs and baskets. This makes for some really enjoyable DIY ideas that you can do with your kids. Here is a great little holiday project that also doubles as a sensory experience.
What you Need:
I C Flour
½ C Salt
1 T Cream of Tartar
1 T Vegetable Oil
¾ C Water
5-7 drops Essential Oil Blend
Natural Food Coloring
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, mix flour, salt, and cream of tartar.
- Add water, oil, and a few drops of food coloring. Heat over low heat. Stirring constantly until it forms a ball of dough.
- Let the dough cool slightly then use your hands to mix in the essential oils.
- Shape into Easter bunnies, eggs, or other festive figures.
- Let dry if desired and use them as decorations.
