Fall Candle DIY

With a soft glow that fills your space and comforting autumn scents, nothing sets the mood quite like a fall candle. Making your own candle with Essential Oils lets you skip synthetic fragrances and fill your home with the pure natural aroma of crisp spice, warm woods, and sweet citrus. This simple recipe will help you capture the essence of fall in a clean, toxin free candle that you can actually enjoy burning.

What you Need:
4 oz Glass or Ceramic Jar
Glass Pourable Measuring Cup
6 oz Soy Wax Flakes (melts down to 4 oz)
1 Cotton or Wood Wick
Wick Holder (chopsticks work well)
1 T Coconut Oil (optional) for smoothness
40-50 drops Essential Oil Blend

How to Make It:

Place your wick in the center of the container and hold it in place.

In a double boiler or microwave (if your wax is approved for microwave use), melt the Soy Wax with the coconut oil if using. Once it is completely liquid, remove from heat and gently stir in the Essential Oil blend that you have chosen. Carefully pour the mixture into the container. Let it cool completely, then trim the wick.

How to Use It:
Light your candle and enjoy the spicy autumn scent!
