DIY Cuticle Balm
Do you have dry cuticles or cracking skin around your nails? Ugh, we know the feeling. Whether it’s caused by working with your hands, constant washing, or unpleasant weather conditions, we’ve got a great recipe for you. This DIY balm for your cuticles is sure to have your hands feeling like new again.
Ingredients:
1oz Container with Lid
1 T. Argan Oil
1 T. Sweet Almond Oil
1 tsp Beeswax
1 T. Shea Butter (or Butter of your choice)
6 drops Lavender Essential Oil
4 drops Lemon Essential Oil
4 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
About the Ingredients:
Argan Oil is rich in fatty acids and Vitamin E making it nourishing for dry skin.
Sweet Almond Oil softens, moisturizes and reconditions skin.
Shea Butter helps to lock in moisture and protect from skin damage
Lavender, Lemon, and Frankincense Essential Oils are antibacterial and skin soothing.
How to make:
In a double boiler, melt all of the ingredients except the Essential Oils. Remove from heat and stir in the Essential Oils. Pour slowly into the container and let it harden. You may place it in the refrigerator to help it cool faster.
How to use:
Massage onto cuticles after washing hands allowing it to penetrate deeply. Re-apply as needed.
