Under eye circles and puffy eye bags are no fun! This DIY eye balm contains ingredients that help to tighten skin and reduce fine lines.
Ingredients:
About the Ingredients:
Rosehip Oil is a powerful antioxidant full of healthy fatty acids that helps hydrate skin and encourage cell turnover.
Grapeseed Oil improves skin elasticity and softness.
Coffee contains caffeine that can reduce swelling and puffiness.
Roman Chamomile is a great anti-inflammatory and Frankincense aids in rejuvenating skin.
How to Make:
First, create the coffee-infused oil by placing the coffee grounds with the rosehip oil and grapeseed oil in a clear glass jar with a lid. Swirl to make sure the coffee grounds are completely saturated and place in a sunny spot for a week, taking time to swirl it each day.
After 1 week, strain the oil from the grounds using a fine mesh strainer or a coffee filter.
In a double boiler, place the coffee-infused oil and beeswax in until melted, then remove from heat and gently stir in the Essential Oils. Pour the mixture into the container and let it harden.
How to Use:
Once cooled and hardened, rub your fingertip across the balm and apply it under the eyes. Use as needed morning and evening on clean skin.
