DIY Moisturizing Curl Cream

When you have curls, or even wavy hair, you know the constant struggle to keep them tamed, moisturized, and under control! Well, did you know that many natural ingredients can help to nourish and maintain healthy curls? There are also certain Essential Oils that you can add to the mix for extra hydration and strength. This useful DIY recipe will help bring out the best in your curls by locking in moisture and giving a little more shine and bounce.

What you Need:
4 oz Glass Jar
2 T Shea Butter
How to Make It:
In a double boiler, melt the Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, and Jojoba Oil together. Remove from heat and add in the Aloe Vera Gel. Let it cool until it begins to harden around the edges of the bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture and slowly add in the Essential Oils until the cream becomes light and fluffy. Transfer into your container and keep tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark place.
How to Use It:
Scoop out a small amount into your palm and rub your hands together to warm. Apply to damp hair by scrunching it into the curls and smoothing through the strands. Avoid getting it on the roots. If your dry curls are getting frizzy, you can add a touch more cream by dampening your hands and massaging it into your hair.
